About Us
Baril was created by Erson Claveria during his early days in college. When he wasn't tucked away in the college library studying disease processes, he would attend USPSA competitions all over Northern California. He would compete with a Gen 3 Glock 19 and found that the rudimentary stipling that came on factory Glocks kept causing his grip to slip and fail, especially in high stress competition. He tried Talon Grips to solve the issue, but the grips would shift and move with hard use. The other solution was to stipple his firearm, but being a broke college student, he didn't have the money to afford a custom stipple job. Erson then turned to another way to solve the issue which was his hands. He found that sweat and skin oils is what causes grip to fail in high stress situations. He got to work and put together a few ingredients that reduced sweat, absorbed oils, and increase grip. The end product was Baril. He used Baril at competitions and other shooters noticed an increase in his scores after he started using Baril. Many were keen to acquire it to augment their own shooting capacity. Erson saw a market for this product as many took interest in it and decided to bring it to market. Baril is now being used by all shooters, from experienced competitors to new firearm owners looking to improve their skill.
